If Bid po aukci

Když prodejce nabídne vyšší částku a co můžete zvolit.

What If Bid means

Sometimes you “win” the sale but your high bid did not meet the seller’s minimum. The seller (or the auction) offers a higher amount for you to accept. IAAI calls this If Bid; Copart is similar (On Approval).

At GetCars the bid shows If Bid – pending your decision in My bids. We also notify you if those alerts are on.

What you can do

The dialog shows your bid and the seller offer.

  1. Accept the offer — you agree to the higher amount. The purchase continues at that USD vehicle price (import comes later on invoices).
  2. Keep my bid — you stay at the original amount. The seller may accept, decline, or negotiate further. The result is not instant; you will see that we are waiting on the auction.

Take both choices seriously. An accepted higher price is as binding as a win.

Deposit limits

The seller offer may be above your original amount. It must fit your plan’s bidding power. If it does not, contact us before the reply window closes — sometimes a plan upgrade can help, but we cannot always make it in time.

If Bid uses a slot and power until it is resolved.

Time

You do not have unlimited time. The auction house has its own deadlines. When you see If Bid at GetCars, decide quickly. If you do nothing, we may lose the car.

After you decide

  • Accepted and the seller confirms → typically a win and a business case.
  • You keep the original bid → we wait; it may still win, lose, or come back with another offer (you will see that too).
  • Loss / end of negotiation → the bid moves to history and the limit frees.

Unsure whether the higher price still works with import? Run the lot estimate and write to us before you accept.
